Lynne Arriale was born in America and today is one of the most famous jazz pianists, composer. She began studying music at age four, and her initial training at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music was classical and received Master’s Degree and her interest in the works of
Keith Jarrett and Herbie Hancock led her to jazz. She has developed a singular voice as a composer, leader and pianist through her compelling originals known for their heartfelt, folkloric quality, and her reinventions of pop classics.
Today Lynne Arriale is currently Assistant Professor of Jazz Piano and Director of the Jazz Combo Program at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
